Contribution Mentor Summit

The Contribution Mentor Summit 2021 is a new type of event, aimed at increasing the number of contribution mentors that can then help new contributors begin their journey in contributing the the Drupal project.

If you are familiar with the Drupal contribution processes, like how to find interesting issues to work on, how to contribute to them with testing, code, documentation, design, UX, A11y, or project management, then YOU are the right person to come to this event and learn how we pass that knowledge onto new contributors.

We will also be including workshops, discussions and talks around topics such as new tools we may use, training on generic volunteer management and ways we can collaborate in both an in-person and virtual manner.

We recognise that contributors to the Drupal project are distributed across the world and will be running this even in multiple timezones. We will be running all of the curated "how to be a mentor" content in English, though.
